Some people were confused between an orchestra and a string ensemble.

An orchestra is a large instrumental ensemble typical of classical music, which mixes instruments from different families, including bowed string instruments such as violin, viola, cello and double. That means an orchestra comprises of many musician and people rarely pay for a whole orchestra to play at their wedding.

Most weddings usually only require a small group of 3 or 4 musicians called string ensembles to play at the events. These musicians charges $600-$1500 to play at your wedding.
